Do I keep my number?
Yes. Your phone company may charge for forwarding.
Can it put an urgent call through to me?
Not yet. Today it emails you the details when the call ends.
Can it book jobs into my calendar?
Yes, where your calendar can be connected. It books through Cal.com into your Google or Outlook calendar, and only offers times you're available. I set it up and test it on your calendar before it goes live. If it can't book reliably for your business, I'll tell you, and it takes a message instead. Booking into job-management software like ServiceM8 is a separate connection, quoted on its own.
Are calls recorded?
Yes, and transcribed. Every call starts with a notice and asks if that's okay.
What does it cost?
One monthly price, plus a one-off set-up. On a short call I work out how many calls you get, and I pick a plan that covers them, so most months the price I quote is what you pay. If a month runs over, extra minutes are charged by the minute.
What if I stop?
You keep your phone number, the assistant's name, and a copy of its script and knowledge sheet. The assistant runs on my account, so it stops when you leave.
